The " " Issue

During 2000, I remember we 6M students have a BM teacher called Cikgu Paulinechin. She was quite a strict but great teacher. But an incident did happen that year which I call the " " issue.
At that time, Lee Xin, Tun Lee, Gao Hwang and me were good friends and we always hang aroung together, making noise, fooling around, living a happy go lucky life.
Then out of no where, we created a hand symbol " " using our index and middle finger to show the " ". When we say something example: you are so "pretty" ( when we mention the word pretty we will move our index and middle finger.) Actually the message we want to say is you are ugly. " " means opposite meaning. So here was how the " " issue happen.
Cikgu Paulinechin - CP
Lee Xin - LX
Tun Lee - TL
Gao Hawang - GH
Me - WS

CP: There will be a story telling competition next month. I want to find a few students to represent our class for this competition.

LX, TL, GH, WS: Hmm....

CP: Who want to volunteer to join this competition?

LX: Tun Lee la! He always win d la... He so geng....

TL: What oh? I don't one la! Call Gao Hwang la!

WS: Yala. Gao Hwang so geng.

GH: Nah! I very "geng" oh!

WS,TL,LX,GW : ( We joke around with the " " )

The teacher misunderstood us our " " meaning and she thought we were making fun of her. She argued my with us so long. In the end we told her even our form teacher know the meaning and TL, LX and GH said they wanted to see our form teacher Peng Lao Shi to tell her the truft. However, three of them got demerit in the end. I felt so guilty for not going with them to find Peng Lao Shi. In the end, this issue was solved by this method. :P
